We’re revisiting an episode from the early days of Dorktales Storytime as we get ready for the launch of Season 6 with brand-new tales and adventures on February 6th! “The Three Little Hogs” was the very first fairy tale we told when the podcast began in 2020. It’s where you’ll meet the three hedgehog brothers—Percy, Porky, and Peregrin—and encounter the Big Bad Wolf before he had a change of heart. Relive the beginnings of Jonathan and Redge’s budding friendship before they set off on their storytelling journey together.

The Three Little…HOGS? Who’s heard of that? According to Mr. Reginald T. Hedgehog, our Dorktales sidekick, it’s a classic tale from the fairy tale cannon! Come hear our storyteller recount the story of hedgehogs Porky, Percy and Peregrin, and their ultimate triumph over the dastardly wolf using a glue pot, rapier and a wheel barrow. According to Percy, “It’s epic, man!”
 

We have been part of Read Your World since it first began. Today it is a non-profit whose mission is to raise awareness about children’s books that celebrate diversity and to get more of these books into the hands of readers. Every January for the past 13 years they host a grand community event called "Read Your World Day" (formerly known as Multicultural Children's Book Day). This year, the public party is on Zoom and we are personally inviting you to attend!

Join us as we come together to celebrate diverse and inclusive children's books alongside teachers, librarians, parents, families, co-hosts, sponsors, and everyone who shares Read Your World's mission.
